Architect Eva Jiřičná attended the grand opening of the Arché building
In its original philosophical meaning, Arché is the first principle of the world and the beginning of everything. It is also the name of the building that has now become our new headquarters. At the same time, it is the first completed administrative building in our Rohan City urban development project. We were delighted to share the grand opening of Arché with a large number of friends, business partners and journalists. We appreciated the fact that internationally acclaimed architect Eva Jiřičná, who designed this unique building, also attended the event.
Eva Jiřičná has designed a transparent building with an all-glass facade. Her signature style is also evident in the entrance lobby, the bionic backlit wall and monumental reception desk of which, complemented by an illuminated glass sculpture, immediately catch the eye. All three elements - the bionic wall, the reception desk and the sculpture - are inspired by water as the essence of life and thus tie in with the wave-shaped sunshades on the southern facade of Arché.
We began transforming the former brownfield site on Rohan Island into a fully-fledged urban district called Rohan City in 2021. We aim to complete the project by 2035. It will provide housing and jobs for 11,000 people. The total investment will exceed CZK 25 billion.
