REZIDENCE ČAKOVICE – PHASE 1
Peace and quiet in Čakovice
Welcome to Čakovice, a picturesque neighbourhood with a history dating back to 1088.
This new residential project by Sekyra Group will offer approximately 520 apartments in nine buildings, built in several stages. The design of the new buildings will naturally and sensitively complement the traditional architecture in Čakovice. They will offer all the comfort and convenience required for modern living.
Small-town living
Although Čakovice is an integral part of Prague and boasts excellent transport links to the city centre and modern infrastructure, life here evokes peace, tranquillity and the pleasant atmosphere characteristic of small-town living in close proximity to historical sights and nature.

A word from the architect
Čakovice has a strong genius loci and, thanks to its good accessibility from Prague, has great potential for development. Its charm lies in its small-town poetry, authentic historical roots and intimate, unpretentious urban spaces. Our goal for the urban development of Čakovice is to develop this poetry, preserve an appropriate scale of development and maintain authenticity.
In designing the residential complex, we drew on the characteristic features of Čakovice’s urbanism. In the more picturesque parts of the municipality, the streets are lined with trees. This mature greenery lends them a very intimate character. The street forms the main urban space. We have dimensioned them to meet current requirements without losing their proportions and intimacy. The traffic lanes are lined with trees on both sides, with parking spaces in between. There are gardens behind the buildings, just like in traditional urbanism. The gardens have owners and reach the property lines. This creates a neighbourhood that cannot be achieved with conventional apartment buildings.

Locality
Čakovice has a long and colourful history. This small, independent town became part of Prague in 1968, but has retained its genius loci. Local cultural monuments include the Neo-Romanesque Church of St Remigius, built according to a design by Karel Scheiner, and Čakovice Chateau located near the Čakovice sugar plant, with an English park stretching between them. There is also a brook, pond and chateau park in the immediate vicinity of the future Rezidence Čakovice, further emphasising the intimate and pleasant residential atmosphere.
Civic amenities
Thanks to its rich history, the attractive Čakovice locality offers complete civic amenities. Right next to Rezidence Čakovice, residents will find a nursery school and, a little further away, a playground, primary school and grammar school. There are also shops, a post office, medical clinics and public transport stops. In Čakovice, you will find everything you need for a peaceful, pleasant and fulfilling life.

Quiet living
The nine residential buildings of the Rezidence Čakovice project offer modern apartments with high living standards and layouts ranging from 1+kk to 4+kk. Rezidence Čakovice will include a multipurpose building with a nursery, medical clinics and accommodation units. The buildings themselves are designed with three to five storeys to naturally blend in with the surrounding structures. Many of the apartments will have their own garden or balcony. Parking spaces and garages are a matter of course. The new residence will be connected to the original neighbourhood by pleasant tree-lined avenues, which will seamlessly connect to the existing streets. A nearby “green” space with grass and trees, created as part of the project, will also serve as a place for residents to relax and enjoy their leisure time.
