Information on personal data protection within Sekyra Group

The Sekyra Group companies are committed to protecting your personal data and have undertaken to protect these data in accordance with transparency, ethical information practices and applicable data protection legislation, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – hereinafter the “GDPR”). As proof of our commitment to personal data protection, we have developed and approved a set of binding company guidelines containing rules governing our personal data protection obligations, including principles for the transfer of personal data and related individual privacy rights.

Purpose of personal data processing

Our goal is to ensure maximum protection of your personal data when they are processed by us. Whether you have entrusted us with your personal data on the basis of a contract or consent, or we have obtained them on the basis of legal regulations that require us to do so, our approach to protecting them is governed by the same rules:

1. Subject:

This document explains how personal data are collected and used by Sekyra Group companies, a list of which is provided in the appendix to this memorandum (hereinafter “Sekyra Group”), and the rights of the subjects of such personal data. Personal data are any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, i.e. a person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person. We collect personal data in various ways during the course of our normal business activities, both online and offline. Data collection occurs, for example, when providing services, concluding contracts and communicating with Sekyra Group, or when visiting and using our websites. We also receive personal data from our customers for the purpose of providing services on their behalf.

2. Identity of the personal data controller:

The personal data controllers within Sekyra Group and for the purposes of this memorandum are the companies listed in the list of companies in the appendix to this memorandum, which jointly determine the purposes and means of personal data processing and are therefore considered joint personal data controllers within the meaning of Article 26 of the GDPR (hereinafter collectively “Joint Controllers or individually as “Controllers”). The main controller responsible for fulfilling the obligations of Sekyra Group in relation to the processing of personal data, i.e. in particular with regard to the exercise of the rights of data subjects and the obligation to provide information in accordance with the GDPR, is Sekyra Group, a.s., ID No 63998611 (hereinafter “Sekyra Group, a.s.”). 3. Categories of personal data:

The personal data we may collect and process include, but are not limited to:

  • Contact information that allows us to communicate with you, such as your first name, surname, title, date of birth, personal number, address, telephone number, e-mail address or other addresses that allow us to send you messages, and company information and registration data that you provide to us.
  • Other information in job applicants’ CVs (education, skills, work experience, marital status, etc.)

  • Information about relationships that will help us do business with you, such as the types of products and services you may be interested in.

  • Transaction information relating to the way you interact with us, including purchases, enquiries, customer account information, order and contact information, billing and financial details, tax documentation, transaction history and correspondence, and information about how you use our website (i.e. the Sekyra Group website: www.sekyragroup.cz).
